Back to China – Again and Again

Hi there! I’m Patrick from Germany, but most people prefer to call me Paddy. Boring stuff first, I am 27 years old and recently finished my studies at the Georg-August-University Göttingen. Studying Political Science and Modern Chinese, China was always at the center of my interests. Since I’ve already been to China several times, it was clear that I definitely wanted to go back to Guangdong, as it is the most interesting Chinese province in my humble opinion.

I already did a two month internship in China in the year 2012 in the Charity Promotion Association of Zhuhai, of course with InternChina. After that I spend a lot of time studying in Beijing and travelled through a lot of Chinese provinces. Even though you probably never heard of Zhuhai before, I can promise you: Once you have been in Zhuhai for a while, you will never really loose the feeling of “Wanderlust” that draws you back to this beautiful city. Feeling the nice summer breeze at the beach and eating all kinds of delicious and weird food, all the while doing an interesting internship, what could be a better experience?

So here I am back again! This time as an intern at InternChina itself. Already knowing  what this awesome and exciting company is doing here in China, I did not hesitate  when Paul, the office manager of the Zhuhai branch, offered me a 6 months internship  in this amazing city with its lovely people. I am really looking forward to this  internship and am very eager to make new friends and contacts.
