Left Behind Children’s Centres – The money will be used for LBC centres only.
The Chinese Relief & Development Foundation addresses the serious problem of “left-behind children” in rural areas by establishing care centres. These centres provide an environment to help these children’s healthy growth, to encourage them to continue pursuing an education, and give them with additional tools to help them succeed academically. The Foundation also wishes to raise awareness about this issue. These centres can play an active role in guiding these children towards a successful future by focusing on physical health as well as mental development, helping them develop a positive mental attitude, provide a good learning environment, and giving them additional assistance to succeed in school. Every year, volunteers are transported to the centres to provide psychological counselling and other advisory services.
