Hey everyone, 大家好!
I’m still recovering from the Chinese mid-autumn festival (中秋节) and the massive amounts of mooncakes that come with it, but I’ll take the time to share some pretty exciting news regarding InternChina and myself with you!
Wait, first things first! My name is Colin, I’m from the “beer paradise” also known as Bavaria in Germany, but after having spent a lot of my time outside of Germany, in – amongst others – Italy, France, Argentina, Taiwan and Russia, I consider myself a global citizen.

With a B.A. degree in International Business & Communication, little knowledge of Mandarin and lots of excitement I arrived in Chengdu, China in early 2014 for a 3 month internship with InternChina. I immediately fell in love with the place and its people, got used to the Chinese lifestyle, improved my Mandarin, found a nice job and have never since thought about leaving China, so I made Chengdu my new home.

Fast forward one and a half years, it’s time for a new challenge, time to step out the Sichuan comfort zone and to abandon the heaven of spiciness: Dongbei awaits! Dalian is calling!
I visited “China’s fashion capital” for a total of three times, twice as a tourist and once on a business trip and I enjoyed each stay a lot. From October 2015 on, the relation Dalian – Colin will be a more serious one, though: I’m very happy and excited to take the role as Branch Manager for InternChina’s new Dalian office and look forward to offering exciting internship opportunities in that charming city in the future.
