Discuss time differences: make sure to get in touch when the time is suitable for you both!
Video or voice call? It’s up to you and your mentee!
Check the weekly discussion themes or pick new ones with your mentee
Prepare materials to help you present your country and culture as well as some questions for your mentee
Unsure about a fact? Don’t worry, you can’t know everything! Research the answer with your mentee for a fun learning experience
Can’t get in touch with your mentee? Let our team know ASAP!
Don’t be shy… Treat your mentee as a friend! You will overcome the nervousness and improve over time
Are you having difficulties or feeling nervous? Don’t worry, just let your mentee know, they will understand and most probably share your feelings!

Can’t get in touch with your mentor? Let our Pagoda team know ASAP!
Your partner might not be used to speaking or hearing languages other than their mother tongue. So please, be patient, try to talk clearly and slowly and be sympathetic.. They are trying their best

Please let your mentor / mentee know if you are unable to set up meeting & rearrange for another meeting time. there must be, at least, one voice or video call per week
If there is no response for delaying a meeting from either side please reach out to our Pagoda team for help
If your mentor / mentee disconnects or disappears…please, let us know
