Discovering beautiful Chengdu

Hello everyone!
My name is Margaux and I am the new intern in the InternChina Chengdu office from France. I will be here until the end of August, I wish I could stay here longer, but I need to go back to university in France, where I will receive my bachelor degree in foreign languages (English and Chinese) and where I will start a Master degree in Management.
This is my first time in Mainland China, although I have spent a year in Taiwan during my high school years as an exchange student. Whilst there are some similarities between mainland China and Taiwan, I have already discovered so many new things in the last few days in Chengdu – it’s really a whole new lifestyle compared to Taiwan!
InternChina – Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Dragon Tiger Towers
Every morning I wake up and I know that I’m about to embark on a great adventure again, every walk, doesn’t matter where you wander, will lead you to great and surprising places.
When you mention the city of Chengdu in France, very few people will have heard about it. I, myself, did not know much about the city, if not for the pandas and the cuisine.
InternChina – Trip to Panda Base
However, the city was nothing like I expected. It is clean, beautiful, traditional and also really modern, but people are quite chilled out here and go at their own pace, which I find really pleasant.
InternChina – 望江楼公园 Wangjianglou Park in Chengdu
I am really lucky to be on this adventure, and even more to be part of the great team of InternChina Chengdu office, I couldn’t find any better place for an internship in China!
