Happy Chinese New Year!

On behalf of all the InternChina team, I’d like to wish you a very Happy Chinese New Year!
Our offices in the cities of Qingdao, Zhuhai, Chengdu and Dalian are enjoying the holiday celebrations. Take a look at some of the pictures from China below!
But it’s not just China where we’ve been celebrating – Manchester is also playing host to some great Chinese themed celebrations. The city has been adorned red lanterns and there was even a pop up bar from Tsingtao Beer – somewhere you can actually intern at in Qingdao!

This year is the Year of the Monkey. If you’re born in the year of the Monkey, this means you are said to be lively, quick-witted, curious, intelligent as well as mischievous.

The most important meal of the day is on New Years Eve, when families will reconvene to eat traditional foods, such as rice, seafoods and noodles as well as dumplings.
新年好 (Xīnnián hǎo)
‘New Year goodness!’
In Mandarin: sshin-nyen haoww
