InternChina Launches 4th Destination: Dalian

InternChina’s latest milestone represents not only a new destination; Dalian in Liaoning province, but a significant first step in what I hope will be a long term strategic partnership with the China branch of UK higher education giant INTO.
Dalian fits perfectly with our core values of offering students a destination where students and recent graduates can immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture. We always want to establish branches in destinations where we also like to spend time ourselves. Dalian’s temperate climate, beautiful scenery, beaches, relaxed atmosphere combined with rapid economic development make it an ideal IC destination.

We are ambitious and want to offer students a wide choice of cool destinations in China, so we have been on the lookout for a fourth city for some time. Dalian makes sense in line with our existing cities but also allows us to explore a partnership with INTO China and work with students studying at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, which is in China’s top 3 universities for Finance and Economics courses. Working more closely with INTO has been a long-term ambition. I know we will add an extra dimension to their China study programmes and hope that an ongoing partnership will help us to achieve even more significant growth in years to come.
I’m happy to say that we’ve recruited a great branch manager for Dalian – Colin Bender – who has spent the last 2 years working for an InternChina partner company in Chengdu, after a graduate internship at the company which was originally arranged by InternChina. Colin boasts a range of language skills, he embodies InternChina’s core values and we hope he will enjoy representing IC in Dalian, offering support to interns and developing lots of exciting internship opportunities in the city.
We have an initial 25 internship places available in Dalian for Summer 2016. To register your interest, apply now!
