This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in animation and or illustration to help create a 90sec explainer video as part of an exciting new marketing campaign to promote a disruptive new digital platform set to make a real positive impact on people of all ages at a time when the world needs it more than ever.
Our platform is modern, interactive, uplifting, human and we want our marketing/animation material to reflect that with a bit of personality/humour injected on top!
We’ve done some initial character studies and story boarding to get your started. We’d like to explain our concept through a character growing from a baby, student, parent, grandparent encountering and addressing the problems we solve along the way. This could be a simple hand drawn continuous line character to tie in with our continuous ‘LifeLine’ theme throughout the application, but it doesn’t have to be – we’re open to all suggestions! We want it to be engaging, impactful, beautiful and funny. Happy to give you creative freedom to add your own style to it.
We’re also looking to integrate the character into the web application itself as an animated intro to different sections so there’s an opportunity to create mini animations or GIFs if this is of interest.
You will receive regular direct contact, support and mentorship from the CEO Founder as well as experts in front and back-end development, Ui/Ux design and testing.
A chance to work alongside an experienced design and development team at an important stage of the product’s development. The core application has been built with an exciting Ui/Ux interface but there’s some exciting work to be done on promoting the site and this explainer video will sent round a global market with chance for viral growth, it will be the first thing people see so very important. It will be a great project for your CV!
The role is currently remote and will be for the duration of the placement. We believe in staying connected and you’ll be supported with regular daily communication throughout the team via video conferencing. We’re Manchester based so can meet up if preferred.
We can be relatively flexible to the times/hours worked per week we can discuss and agree dependent on your personal circumstances or other commitments.

Internship Requirements:
Hardworking, creative and passionate about any aspect of Animation or illustration. A flare for design/animation and keen to work on a modern contemporary stylish product/brand. They should be able to get stuck in, eager to learn and be able to contribute where they can. Be able to use their initiative to work remotely on tasks independently where possible but not be afraid to ask for help if it’s needed. We have a very approachable and supportive team so would rather be asked than you struggle on your own! Someone who wants to get some work experience with an exciting new tech company trying to make a real difference.
