Official launch of InternChina’s UK office!

As you may have seen from my previous blog posts, I’m back in the UK now setting up InternChina’s first European-based office. We always wanted to have an office in Europe in order to visit our university partners more regularly, develop new partnerships, support students before their departure to China and generally be able to offer all of our European partners and interns a point of contact in their own time zone!
Over the past 4 months I’ve been busy traveling around visiting new and existing partners and talking to students who are either planning an internship in China, are preparing for the trip or are alumni of our programs and helping to inform other students at their university about their awesome experience through InternChina.

Whenever I’ve not been on the road, I’ve based myself at a shared office space in the heart of Manchester. The office is run for startups and small businesses in Manchester and is owned by Manchester Metropolitan University. It’s great to be around other exciting young businesses and the comfortable office surroundings provide a great base for InternChina in the UK and a place for any students in the North West of the UK to visit us and chat about a possible internship, homestay or language course in China.

Full information for our UK office is now available on our Contact Us page!

We’re currently recruiting summer interns and long term interns who can start in September for the Manchester office. If you know anyone who may be interested, please refer them to our careers page for more information!

The University of Manchester is an InternChina partner and coordinates among other things the Study China Programme, which InternChina was a part of in 2012.
