An internship is a fantastic way to gain exposure in your chosen field. Develop key skills, meet new people and experience a different culture, living and working like a local.
About the programme
- 4 month internships for PG students or 1-3 month internships for UG students.
- Roles in your chosen field and destination. You’ll spend the full programme length in-country, where you’ll be provided with accommodation, on-site support and an unforgettable international experience
- Over 1,000+ internships with host companies in 45+ sectors
- Intern in-person in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi or Bangkok
- Accommodation, airport transfers and 24/7 emergency support
- Internships tend to be unpaid due to visa requirements
- Although Pagoda have excellent sector coverage, some specific sectors may only be available in some of the in-person destinations
- Internship places are subject to a competitive application process
- Faculty approval of internship credit must be completed prior to starting the placement.
- Funding available to help cover programme fees
- Students need to review the available scholarships before applying to ensure they meet the criteria and deadlines.

Application Process
Summer 2024 programme dates:
UG students to start on the 3rd of June 2024 with the programme finishing no later then the 30th of August 2024
PG students could start on the 3rd of June if available to do so. If not, the next start date is the 29th of July 2024.
The application process is as easy as 1,2,3…
1. SUBMIT YOUR 2-MIN APPLICATION
Record a quick video or complete a phone interview (your choice!) so we can assess your application as part of our selection process. Once submitted, we’ll be in touch within 24 hours.
2. INTERNSHIP SELECTION
If selected, our friendly team will be in contact to discuss your preferences, find the most suitable options and coach you through the interviewing process with your chosen host companies. All internships are listed on our website.
3. ONBOARDING
You’ve confirmed your internship – congratulations! Next we’ll be in touch about booking flights and sorting your student visa (if necessary). You’ll gain access to the Pagoda Portal to start your onboarding and we’ll organise a live information session with you to answer any questions.

All programmes are managed on the Pagoda Portal - a digital hub for our student community. This is where you can track your progress, register for events, access skills courses, network with other interns and request additional support.

An internship is the best way to gain exposure in your chosen field – but this is way more than work experience. Our in-person programmes provide you with the opportunity to make a real difference within your chosen company. You’ll work on industry projects and use what you’ve learnt at university to make decisions that have a real impact.
Outside of your internship, you’ll continue your professional development through skills courses, careers coaching and organised talks with industry professionals. Our team will support you to achieve your full potential and organise events, activities and dinners to make you feel at home.
And you won’t be alone! You’ll get to know other students on the programme and spend your free time exploring the city, living and working like a local.
Furnished Apartment Accommodation
Our expert in-country teams will source and manage your accommodation, in line with our accommodation quality policy. Our furnished apartments are all located on good transport links and in a secure area of the cities where Pagoda delivers programmes.
You will always be provided your own private bedroom and any shared facilities will always be with Pagoda participants only. Female-only accommodation is available and provided at no additional cost.
